写実画壇について
『理念と沿革』
写実画壇は１９７２年（昭和４７年）抽象美術全盛の頃「内外世界画壇の雑多な傾向に対し、健実な写実表現を提唱」してその年の１１月に結成されました。
創立会員は里見勝蔵、遠藤典太、川上尉平、清水練徳、矢橋六郎等43名。第1回写実画壇展は翌年１９７３年５月、上野の森美術館にて開催され、以後同美術館で毎年春に開催いたしております。小林和作、中尾彰、原精一らもかつての出品者です。
創立以来、会員と少数の招待作家の作品という展覧会の構成は変わらず、公募制が主流の日本の美術団体展の中で、非公募の展覧会として独自の展開をいたしております。 その理念を現在以下のように標榜し、２１世紀の写実表現を目指して各自真摯に取り組んでおります。それは単なる「写実」ではなく「実相に迫る表現」を希求するものです。
『写実画壇は写実表現を志す作家たちが集い活動する美術団体です。私たちの生命の鼓動、その生活の実感、または物の存在の実相を表現しようとするものです。それは国を越え時代を超えても、また世の中の仕組みや流れが変わろうと、人が表現し続ける重要なテーマの一つでしょう。』
“Shajitsugadan-Ten” is a special exhibition of present-day artists who attempt the true nature of things.
Shajitsugadan was organized in 1972 by Katsuzo Satomi and 42 other member artists.
Though abstract painting was mainstream at the time,these artists opted for a realistic approach to painting.
Shajitsugadan-Ten has been held at “Ueno no Mori Museum”every spring since 1973.
Each of the almost 100 present member artists of Shajitsugadan work from their own philosophy of painting.
Large-scale paintings can be seen on the 1st and 2nd floors ; smaller paintings can be viewed on the 1st floor in a separate room. Please enjoy our paintings.
